Occasionally we discover a designer that creates the beautiful things that make us sigh and dream of the women we really are deep inside where we don’t tell anyone. Vitabela Dubrovna is such a designer.
Not long ago there was a question on the Second Life forums about the best designers in-world. Her name came up and I had never heard of her, so I tp’d on over to her main showroom, Boudoir. I was instantly enthralled. The fabrics are ethereal. The texture work is highly defined and rich. The dresses are the picture of earthy femininity and raw sexuality. Even if the garments are not your style, the exquisite art Ms. Dubrovna is creating here with each piece is worth a trip to her shop. Take the time to examine each one carefully. Note the specifically placed cutouts in the delicate lace. The highly detailed feathers, looking as if they were freshly taken from a gleaming bird before it could take wing. Roses so realistic you can almost smell their heady aroma. Airy butterflies with the light flowing through their gossamer wings. And that’s just the prims. The texture work on each clothing piece is so realistic, so highly detailed, shadows and folds defined so well you want to reach out and touch the silky rich fabrics. Truly you will gasp in delight at more than one piece.
