I don’t care if it’s officially summer yet, as far as I’m concerned it’s here! The calendar lies I’m sure of it. The weather is beautiful and getting warmer every day and it makes me want to dress in casual easy clothes in wonderful colors that are just made to cheer me up. I was digging through my SL closet and found all kinds of great stuff that’s just perfect for celebrating the warmer weather and clear sunny days that have finally arrived.
I love the way these long skirts flow when I move, they make me smile just watching them swirl around me! This one from Argrace is really a great design. There are three prims here, one on each leg and one on the pelvis, which make the skirt very full and provide good coverage on the legs when I walk. The colors are rich and deep. The matching tank comes in the version I’m wearing here with the sheer bottom half or a more demure version that carries the solid portion of the top all the way down. I chose this one because it mimics the horizontal lines of the skirt as it fades from color to color. Plus I’m not often going to choose the one that’s more demure. Go figure.
Just look at the print on this skirt from LeeZu! How can you not smile when you put this on? I love the low cut waist on this that dips down to show a little more than a little skin. I paired this with a simple pink crop tank to keep focus on the print of this skirt. Once again I chose the prim and proper look, did you notice? This skirt has the multiple prims as well to keep it full and enhance the movement, and is also easy to adjust to make it super long to accommodate sky-high heels, or shorter for that casual bare-foot look. The print has so many colors in it you can mix and match this with a variety of tops and styles to really show it off. Don’t be afraid of all the colors – the colors are what makes this skirt so versatile.
Finally, another skirt from Argrace. I wanted to show this in the other fabric texture that they offer. The skirt design is the same as the purple one I showed you first, but the change in the fabric really gives this a different feel. This simple skirt comes in lots of colors, and each color pack includes a belted skirt as well as the unbelted version shown here. You could mix and match these with a lot of different cute summer tops like the one I’m wearing here from Tiki Tatoo. The summery yellow and halter design pair well with the simple skirt to compliment this casual look.
