Who doesn’t love a good suit? The Nicole suit from DeLa is definitely one to love. The pieces come as separates, in rich satin fabric, with a beautiful cut that makes these pieces very versatile. They can easily be dressed up or down, all out sexy or conservative, just by mixing and matching with the right pieces and accessories. Today I’ll show them in sexy mode, in two looks, one for about town and one for a more private date night. Though as we all know, in SL we can take the second look out on the town as well.

One caveat about these suit jackets; they are not for those who have trouble adjusting prims. DeLa leaves the prims modify, allowing for the selecting of each individual prim for the perfect adjustment for your avatar. While this makes these very flexible and able to fit many shapes perfectly, they will require quite a bit of adjusting for any avatar with wider hips, an ample rear end, or a bigger bust. You should be comfortable making all kinds of prim adjustments, to both size and positioning, if you are at all curvy.

This is a classic look, rich and sophisticated. Notice the beautiful way the suit falls on the body; if fit correctly, the jacket will float over your top half, nip in at the waist, and then float gently away from your hips. There’s enough coverage here to wear this without anything underneath the jacket, but for this look I chose to pull focus away from the cleavage by adding the little white wrap tank underneath. It’s just enough for the focus to be on the suit, instead of the bare chest.

The long trousers come in two fits, the wider leg which I’m wearing here and also a slim leg. Both have prim legs for adjustments which is good, as the fuchsia stilettos from Maitreya deserve to be seen. The bright color peaking out really finishes this look. The accessories in different shades of pink compliment the shoes and tie everything together.

This look is perfect for going shopping (not that I would know anything about shopping), going to a fashion show, or maybe hitting an upscale jazz club with the gang for a little live music.

For a more intimate evening or a night on the town, this jacket does a great job of providing just enough coverage. The intimate apparel peeks out from underneath, providing flashes of lacy contrast to the smooth black satin and bare skin. The long beaded necklace is a focal point used to draw the eye up toward the face, making the fact that I’m not wearing pants in public less apparent…or so I hope! What you can’t see from this picture is that the jacket is long enough in the back to provide coverage of my behind, so it makes the jacket seem more dress-like. This is really what makes this look work for a night out.

I wanted to point out the amazing work in the earrings and necklace from the two looks. These are from Mandala, a recent discovery of mine. The texture detail and prim work here is exquisite, and these and many others in the shop can be dressed up or down. Once again, great accessories provide those finishing touches to tie a look together and make it your own.
